Mysuru, Nov 3: Country, language, culture and caste did not prevent a boy from Netherlands and girl from Mysuru, who were blind in love. So they married according to Hindu tradition in the city on Sunday, November 3.

Anu, daughter of lawyer couple of the city Sumana and Ramaravindra married Na Rene Van Borget of Netherlands on Sunday. Anu had been to Netherlands to pursue higher studies in LLM (Latin Legum Magister), where she got acquainted with Rene and their relation turned into love and both got married in front of their parents in the city.

Anu has taught little bit of Kannada language to Rene after they started loving each other. Rene speaks one or two sentences in Kannada. Even Rene's parents speak one or two words of Kannada. So Kannada language could be heard from the mouth of foreign nationals in the unique wedding that took place in the city.

In this rare kind of marriage, all the rituals, which discriminate human beings on gender basis were kept aside. Poojas were done involving both males and females. Rituals like pounding of paddy, Mehendi, Holi, application of turmeric and Gowri Pooja were held in traditional style.

More than 40 guests for various overseas countries like Poland, USA, Spain, Germany and Netherland were awestruck by the Indian Hindu marriage rituals.
