Udupi, Nov 4: “The video of a statement said to have been made by chief minister Yediyurappa at a BJP party meeting is evidence for BJP’s operation Kamala. As the chief minister had admitted that the voice on the recording is his, it is proved that BJP was responsible for the resignation of Congress party MLAs, taking them to Mumbai and providing protection to them at Mumbai hotel. Therefore, suitable action should be taken against B S Yediyurappa and Amit Shah who were responsible for the murder of democracy and Karnataka state government should be dissolved immediately,” stated Udupi district congress committee in a request submitted to the President of India through DC under the leadership of Udupi district Congress committee president, Ashok Kumar Kodavoor.

Former MLA, U R Sabhapathi, former district president, M A Gafoor, former KPCC secretary, Veronica Cornelio, district spokesperson, Bhasker Rao Kidiyoor, district women’s Congress president, Geetha Vagle, district Congress vice-president, Prakhyath Shetty, district party chief secretary, Kishan Hegde Kolkebail, RGPRS district co-ordinator, Roshni Oliver, party’s Neere Krishna Shetty, Yathish Karkera, Kushal Shetty, Keerthi Shetty, Kishore Ermal, William Fernandes, Ananda Shetty, Annayya Sherigar, Sudhaker Kotian, Upendra Mendon, Shubhash Kola and Sampath Kumar were present.
