Mangaluru: Competitions for differently abled children Spandana 2019 to be held on Nov 5

Mangaluru, Nov 4: "Sandesha Culture and Education Foundation, here will hold district level competitions ‘Spandana 2019’ for differently abled children and celebrate Children’s Day on November 5.

"Competitions in drawing, fancy dress, singing of patriotic songs, dances and various cultural programmes are scheduled at ‘Spandana 2019’. Bendore’s St Agnes Special School will participate in the event.

"The inauguration will be held at 9.30 am. Yamuna D, district welfare officer of differently abled, Fr Francis Assisi Almeida, director, Sandesha Foundation Mangaluru, Sr Maria Sruthi A C, principal, St Agnes Special School, Bendore, George Fernandes, managing director, St Milagres Sauharda Credit Co-operative Society Limited, Anil Lobo, president of Mangalore Catholic Co-operative Bank Limited, Roy Castelino, trustee of Sandesha Foundation, Mangaluru will conduct the programme.

"The concluding programme at around 3.30 pm will be witnessed by Renny D’Souza, president district children welfare committee and director Padi, Childline, Colab Agency, Mangaluru as guests," states a press release.
