Bantwal, Nov 6: President of Mani Kulal Sangha, Bhojanarayana Kulal, and president of Yuva Vedike Peraje, Nitin Poojary, have demanded for detailed investigation into the death of Usha, whose death came after she gave birth to a child.
Usha, wife of Uday Kulal from Ajekala village, had got admitted into a private hospital at B C Road for her delivery on November 2. On the same evening, she became the mother of a baby girl. After the delivery, the doctors asked the family members of Usha to admit the lady into a private hospital at Mangaluru, as they said she was in need of emergency treatment there. When she was taken to Mangaluru hospital, the doctors there confirmed that she was no more, the woman's family stated.
The family and community leaders have demanded for impartial probe into the incident to make sure that the devastated family gets justice.
