Udupi, Aug 17: A youth from the town drowned in River Cauvery at Dubare, a tourist spot located near Kushalnagar in Kodagu district, on Saturday August 15.

Kiran Mallya (24), an engineer, working for a private firm in Bangalore, had been on a visit to Dubare along with friends for fun. His body was recovered on Sunday.
