Sullia, Aug 22: K S Ashok Kumar, chairman of K S Gowda Education Trust, Nintikallu has been conferred Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani award constituted by National Integration and Economic Council, New Delhi.

Ashok was selected for the national award for his contribution towards rural education. Ashok has been providing Englis medium education to children in rural areas in around and Sullia through kindergarten, primary, high school, pre-university college and industrial training institutes run under his trust.
