Mangalore, Aug 27: St Aloysius College Konkani Insititute will hold a two-day workshop on inter-state Konkani vocabulary at the college premises on Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30.
St Aloysius Institutions rector Fr Joseph Rodrigues and principal Swebert D’Silva will preside. Dr Tanaji Halarnkar, chief editor, Konkani Encyclopaedia, University of Goa, Dr L Suneethabai, chief investigator, UGC investigation project, Cochin University, Fr Valerian Fernandes, grammarian, Gopal M Gowda of Kunubi community and Abdullah Damuodi from Bhatkal will participate as the resource persons, stated a press release.
The workshop is held in collaboration with Central Sahitya Academy, New Delhi. The entry for the workshop is free.
