Mangalore: Police Arrest Two - Seize Charas Worth Rs 5.7 Lac

Mangalore, Aug 29: Coastal security police arrested two persons near Someshwara Ucchila beach on Friday August 28 and seized ‘charas’ worth Rs 5.7 lac from them.

The arrested are Henry alias Balakrishna (46) and Kunhiappa (52), residents of Talapady. Both were trying to sell 1.270 kg of the substance. 




The two have been booked under the NDPS Act and produced in court. The police conducted the operation after a tip-off.  

Coastal security force inspector Mukunda Naik, sub-inspectors D Ravikumar, Amanulla A, and other staff were involved in this operation.
