Shivamogga, Dec 17: The disqualified MLAs, who have joined BJP after winning the by-elections had met former CM Siddaramaiah in the hospital, where the latter was recovering after a heart surgery. Some of them had said that Siddaramaiah is their leader. Rural development minister K S Eshwarappa, who got irate by this statement has given a taunt to them.

Speaking to scribes in the city, Eshwarappa said, "We do not agree with the MLAs, who have recently joined BJP from other parties, saying Siddaramaiah as their leader. Ours is 100% BJP. PM Narendra Modi, whom the whole world has lauded, is our leader. Even those who have joined the party newly have to agree and abide by this."

Eshwarappa said these words in the presence of state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel itself and sent a warning to the newly elected BJP MLAs, who had come from JD(S) and Congress.

Minister Eshwarappa appreciated the working style of state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel in the special meeting of the district committee that was held at Shivamogga. He also expressed that the party will get clear majority in the next assembly elections, under the leadership of Nalin Kumar. At the same time, Eshwarappa gave a call to the party workers to spread the ideology and thoughts of the party to the commoners.
