Kasargod: Two Die in Bus-Car Accident

Kasargod, Sep 14: After a government bus running on Town-to-Town service hit a car coming from the opposite direction on national highway 17 at Periyatadkam near here on Sunday September 13, two persons including a four year-old baby, were killed.

Ravindran (32), son of Joyi from Periyatadkam and Jishida (4), daughter of his sister, Sujata Bharatan, died on the spot.  Ravindran was going to his sister Sujata's home located nearby, along with Jishida, when tragedy struck.

Bekal policemen have registered a case. Investigations are on.

    Really a tragic incident. Even govt buses (KSRTC) are prone to accidents. So there is no point in blaming the private buses. I think the drivers should be more careful and made accountable, then only these accidents can be reduced.
