Chikballapur, Sep 14: The consultative meeting of Christian heads from Chikballapur and Bangalore Rural was held under the aegis of Federation of Karnataka Christian Association at the auditorium of St Xavier Church here on Friday September 11.
Presiding over the meet, FKCA state president Ronald Colaco condemned the attacks on churches in the state. He called on brethrens to fight unitedly against such atrocities on fellowmen.
On the occasion, Pastor J D Enos of Baptist Church urged the concerned to open branches of FKCA in taluks of Chikballapur and Bangalore Rural districts. At the meeting it was thus unanimously decided that branches will be opened in the taluks of these districts and adhoc committees in this regard were also formed.
FKCA state convenor Denis D’Silva and St Francis Xavier Church, Chikballpaur priest Fr Arogyadas among others were present.
