Mangalore: Delay in Concreting Bunts Hostel-Mallikatta Stretch - Youth Cong Allege BJP of Bias

Mangalore, Sep 14: Youth Congress led by corporator Ashok D K on Monday Sep 14 protested against the delay in concreting works of the stretch from Bunts Hostel Circle-Mallikatta here.



The Congress former corporators including former mayor Purandar Das Kuloor held a protes near Mangala Nursing Home on the stretch. They alleged of step-motherly treatment by the Mangalore City Corporation ruling party behind the decision of delaying the above said work.  

The protestors further alleged that though the tender for taking up the works was passed last year the concerned have not taken up the works on the stretch. They demanded the concerned to take up the works at the earliest.

    Up to 2008 mangalore city corporation was under the rule of congress but they never developed the roads Now the B J P within one year after they came to power started development in mangalore-Already almost all the roads got concreted. The only one road is pending for concreting, and only road to moving all vehicles to city-if this road is closed for concreting then there will be heavy traffic jam
