Udupi: ZP Deputy Secretary Rao Urges Youth to Respond to Customers’ Rights

Udupi, Sep 16: Youth should respond to the legitimate rights of customers who have suffered losses and mental anguish, said zilla panchayat (ZP) deputy secretary D Pranesh Rao.
 
He  was speaking at the inauguration of seminar on customers’ rights and empowerment, held at Sri Vidyaniketan Pre-University College here on Monday September 15. Pranesh called on youth to be actively involved in the struggle for customers’ rights. He also said that the awareness on customers’ rights should be created among the general public for better implementation of act, he added. 
 


Kaup Sri Vidyaniketan Group of Education Institutions correspondent K P Acharya presided. District Customers’ Forum convenor K Damodar Aithal, Ambalpady Rotary Club president Vadindra Acharya, Consumers’ Forum trustees A P Kodancha, U G Kamath, Sri Vidyaniketan Pre-University College principal professor Gopalakrishna Kidiyoor, Professor Kere Markandeya, students’ union leader Sharath and advisor Divyasri were present.

The seminar was held under the aegis of Sri Vidyaniketan Group of Eeducation Institutions, Kaup, district information and broadcasting department, Customers’ Forum and Rotary Club.
