Sullia, Dec 29: A video clip in which a gang can be seen assaulting an auto rickshaw driver identified as Purushotham from Kukkajekana here has become viral in social websites. The police here has since arrested one of the accused.
The incident had happened on Thursday night. By Friday night it was shared by hundreds of people. A gang beating up Purushotham can be seen in the video. Purushotham filed a complaint in the police station here relating to the incident.
Raj Mukesh, one of the members of the gang which beat up the driver, was arrested. The police also subjected Purushotham to medical examination in the government hospital here.
