Mangaluru: Bethany congregation Novitiate installed at Mwanga Tanzania

Mangaluru, Dec 31: The installation of the Novitiate for the Bethany congregation at Mwanga, Tanzania delegation on December 3 marked a remarkable day.

Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General and Sr Lillis the Asst Superior General and the co-ordinator of formation were present on the occasion. Sisters had invited the Bishop and few neighbouring priests and sisters for the same.

The main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist was Bishop Rogath Kimaryo, the Bishop of the same diocese. There were few more priests and sisters from the neighbouring communities as well as few people from the surrounding areas.



During the holy eucharist, Sr Rose Celine erected the Novitiate and then installed the novice directress Sr Anseline. She was blessed by the bishop after which the first group of four novices - Anitha, Bernedet, Clara and Veronica were initiated to the Novitiate.

The whole celebration was organized well under the leadership of Sr Rose Celine and guided by Sr Lillis.

Tanzania delegation experienced abundant blessings of the Lord. After the holy eucharist, the sisters had a felicitation programme followed by a sumptuous meal.
