Mangaluru, Jan 1: In an unfortunate accident which happened near Kadambody in Suratkal on Tuesday December 31, a child fell into a bucket in which water was stored, and lost its life.
The nine-month-old child in question, Yash, was from a family from Madhya Pradesh. This family was residing in a rented house at Kadambody after bagging job in Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd.
On Tuesday, Yash's mother was taking a nap after finishing the morning chores, when Yash continued to play. The child lost its balance when playing and fell head first into the bucket and died due to suffocation.
A report about this unnatural death was registered in Suratkal police station.
