Mangalore: Kottari-authored ‘Tulu Bhagavadgito’ Released

Mangalore, Sep 28: A 350-page-volume, Tulu Bhagavadgito authored by retired engineer B S Kottari was released at Tulu Sahitya Academy here on Saturday September 26.

Academy member Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli said that Kottari has successfully extracted scientific truths comprising in the epic. A self-taught Sanskrit scholar, Kottari’s book is a complete translation of Bhagvad Gita in Tulu language, he added.

Academy president Paltady ramakrsihna Achar and Karnataka Yakshagana Academy president Kumble Sunder Rao among others were present.
