Mysore: Minister Shobha Karandlaje asks Gujarat CM Modi to Find Mate for Lone Tiger

Mysore, Sep 29: ‘A lone tiger in zoo, here will be arranged a mate by seeking the help from Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and I would serve as their caretaker, said district in-charge minister Shobha Karandlaje.
 


Addressing mediapersons on Monday September 28 while on her visit to zoo, Shobha Karandlaje said that the state administration is committed to the development of the zoo by arranging mates for lone wild animals in the zoo from anywhere across the world. The step has been taken to breed them in captivity and multiply their numbers, she added.
 
Shobha on the occasion, toured around the zoo here in a large electric car and stopped over at elephant house to feed maize cakes, sugarcane and vegetation to elephants.
