Mangalore: AO Spine Monsoon Seminar at FMCH Held

Mangalore, Sep 29:
  AO Spine monsoon seminar on Degenerative Disorders of the Lumbar Spine was held at Fr Muller Medical College Hospital (FMCH) on Tuesday September 29.
 
The daylong seminar dealt with the recent advances in the subject of degenerative diseases of the spine and saw participation of the experts in the field of spine and orthopaedic section.
 


The purpose of the seminar was to deliver the knowledge, experience and evidence to improve patient care and ensure cost-effective spine surgery to the patient, said local chairperson of the A O Spine seminar and organizer Dr Jacob Chacko, professor (orthopaedics).
 
International and national faculty experts in the subjects addressed the delegates. This is the third seminar conducted by AO Spine, India, as part of monsoon seminar, the others held at Bhuvaneswar and Jaipur last week.
 
In the inaugural session of the seminar Fr Patric Rodrigues, director of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions, Dr Jayaprakash Alva dean and head of the department in orthopediac of FMC were present.
