Puttur: Indraprastha School Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri

Puttur, Oct 3:
Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti as well as Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti were celebrated with patriotic fervour at Indraprastha School, Uppinangady, on Friday October 2.
 
The flag-hoisting took place at the school and stage programmes were held later at the Sudhindra Kalyan Mantap, here.



 

The scout cadets performed Gandhi Bhajans and gave prayers for unity and peaceful co-existence of all citizens.
 
School students Sameeksha, Alfam, and Prajna, spoke about the nation’s great leaders who brought freedom to the country. 
 
Teachers John K and scouts teacher Prafulla Gandhi delivered the message on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastry. 
 
School principal Ravindra D, all teachers and students participated in the bhajan programme.
 
Manasa welcomed the gathering while Anujna proposed the vote of thanks.  Swastik compered the programme.
