Chikkamagaluru, Jan 27: Minister C T Ravi, reacting to repeated criticism by former chief minister, Siddaramaiah, that no development work is being undertaken by the government in Karnataka, challenged Siddaramaiah for an open debate on the issue.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday January 26, Ravi said that he is prepared to place before the people the development works undertaken by Siddaramaiah government during its five years of rule, and the development works initiated by the BJP government during the last five months.

Referring to a statement made by former chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, he asked him to name the Sangh Parivar activist from whom he has faced death threat. He advised Kumaraswamy to stop making such claims just to remain in limelight. He said that there are positive ways through which one can gain recognition and appreciation, duly mentioning that blaming the Sangh Parivar has become a fashion now. He said that if Kumaraswamy specifically mentions the name of the person who threatened him, he will find out the person.
