Bengaluru: Personal, residential gun man security to 27 former ministers of state cancelled

Bengaluru, Jan 30: City police commissioner N Baskhar Rao has sent out an order in which the personal gun man as well as the guard security to the residence of 27 former ministers of the state is taken back. This was provided during the coalition government rule.

The former ministers whose personal and residential security is cancelled are R V Deshpande, Bendeppa Kashapoor, G T Devegowda, D C Thammanna, Krishna Byregowda, M C Managooli, N H Shivashankar Reddy, Srinivasa, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Vekatarao Nadagowda, Priyank Kharge, C S Puttaraju, U T Khader, Sa Ra Mahesh, N Mahesh, Shivananda Patil, Venkataramanappa, Rajshekhar Patil, C Puttaranga Shetty, R Shankar, Jayamala, B R Timmapoor, Tukaram E, Rahim Khan, Satish Jarkiholi, P T Parameshwar Naik and Zameer Ahmed.

The commissioner has bifurcated the security of former ministers as A and B grade. The Z plus security and pilot car facility of former ministers Dr G Parameshwar, H D Revanna, D K Shivakumar, K J George and M B Patil will continue as before.
