Bangalore: Second Year PU Examinations to Commence on March 18

Bangalore, Oct 13: The department of Pre University Education has decided to hold the second PUC examinations for the year 2009-10, from March 18 to 31, 2010. Excepting the two holidays that fall in between, the examinations will be held between 9.15 am to 12.15 pm, and again from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

In the morning session on March 18, physics and optional Kannada examinations will be held. On March 19 - history, electronics and computer science will be held in the morning session. Afternoon session -  Carnatic and Hindustani music. On March 20, morning session - political science and statistics.  On March 22, morning session - mathematics and geography. Afternoon -  psychology. On March 23, morning session -  economics, geology. March  24 morning - chemistry, education. March 25 - Hindi. Afternoon Telugu, Urdu, Sanskrit. March 26 morning - English. March 27 morning - sociology, basic mathes. March 29 morning - biology, business studies. March 30: Kannada, Tamil. Afternoon - Malayalam, Marati, Abrabic, French. March 31 -  accountancy, logic, home science.

In a release, director of the department, S Shankarnarayan, has asked the people to file objections if any, for the time table now announced, before November 10, at the central office of the department. After considering the objections received till the, the final time table would be announced, he stated.
