Mangaluru: Airport bomb scare accused Aditya Rao sent to 14-day judicial custody

Mangaluru, Feb 2: The Sixth JMFC court of the city has sent Adithya Rao, accused in the bomb scare incident that created chaos at Mangaluru International airport on January 20 is sent to 14 days of judicial custody.
 
Adithya was produced to court on Saturday, February 1 as his police custody of 10 days got over. The judge sent him to judicial custody.
 
 
During the police custody period of 10 days, Adithya Rao was taken to various places in Mangaluru, Udupi and Karkala for spot inspection as well as collection of vital evidence related to the case.
 
Rao had surrendered before police on January 22 where he admitted to planting 'live' explosive device inside a bag near a ticket counter of the departure gate of the airport on Monday, January 20. But, before it could detonate, police had seized the unattended bag and defused at a nearby open ground.

    Such Miscreants should be heavily punished, no matter who it is. He caused a lot of inconvenience to a lot of people who are travelling.
