Mangaluru, Feb 2: Ease of Living Index (ELI) survey is being conducted in cities across the country that fall under the 'Smart City Mission', to provide basic infrastructure, increase the ease of standard of living of the citizens and to provide a clean and well-maintained environment to the community. Mohammed Nazeer Managing Director (MD) of Mangaluru Smart City project has requested the public of the city to actively participate in the survey and help the city to obtain good ranking.
Speaking to the press on Friday, January 31, Nazeer said, "According to the ELI survey of 2017, Mangaluru city was at rank 41. This year 114 cities are partaking in the competition and the participation of the public is very much required to improve the ranking of the city.
"The citizens of Mangaluru can give their opinion online from February 1 to February 29 on https://eol2019.org/CitizenFeedback. There are 22 questions in the survey. Public of Mangaluru can visit the website link and answer the simple questions that are asked in the survey. The citizens of the city can also voice their opinion on WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook. Development projects will be planned for the respective cities based on the survey findings."
