Brahmavar: World's tallest statue of Swami Vivekananda unveiled

Brahmavar, Feb 3: A huge statue of Swami Vivekananda that has been built at 'Yogabana' belonging to Sarvakshema Hospital and Research Foundation premises at Moodagiliyar village was unveiled on Saturday. The foundation happens to be an arm of Divine Park, Saligrama.

The statue was unveiled by H R Nagendra, chancellor of Jigani-based Swami Vivekananda Yoga University.

This statue, like the famous statue of Vivekananda standing at Kanyakumari, has been made with concrete and stands in the same pose. It is 35 feet high, and is claimed to be the tallest statue of Swami Vivekananda in the world. The concerned have registered for Guinness Record recognition.
