Kasargod, Feb 3: An engineering student who had gone on tour to Madikeri along with friends,lost his life in a road accident on Sunday February 2.
The deceased was Prajwal Kumar (20), son of Sadananda Gatty from Soorambail near Kumble. He was a second year engineering degree student of Sahyadri College, Mangaluru.
On Saturday, Prajwal along with some friends had undertaken tour of Madikeri. When moving through Sampaje Devaragundi, the motor bike in which Prajwal was seated was hit by a car. Prajwal, who suffered grave injuries, was taken to Sullia hospital and then to a hospital at Mangaluru. He did not respond to treatments and lost his life on Sunday.
Prajwal is survived by parents, a bother, and a sister.
