Bantwal: Gulbarga police to investigate Tasleem murder case

Bantwal, Feb 3: Gulbarga police will investigate the murder case of Tasleem alias Mutasim. The deceased was found murdered in Shantinagar, Sajipamooda village here in a car.

It is said that a gang had abducted Tasleem when he was released from jail in Gulbarga district. A case in this connection was registered at Nelogi police station in Jevargi police circle limits on January 31. Police had also detained some people over the abduction.

“The police investigating officer was after the gang that abducted the deceased. Therefore, the murder case will also be investigated by him. As the accused fled leaving the body at Shantinagar, Nagri, Bantwal police will cooperate with Gulbarga police,” said Bantwal police circle inspector T D Nagaraj.
