Ballari, Feb 4: After a lorry collided with a car near Kyasanakere in Kudligi taluk on national highway 50 on Monday February 3, three persons lost their lies instantly. A two-year-old girl who was also in the car had a miraculous escape.
Vasanth Kumar (37) is from Ilkal in the district. He was proceeding to his native place with wife, Vinutha (32) and car driver, Lohit (38) to take part in the funeral of his father. Vasanth Kumar, working as teacher at Madikeri, had hired a car to go to his native place. Vasanth's daughter, two-year-old Ritwika, escaped unscathed in the accident that left the car badly mangled.
Vasanth's father Kuberappa, had passed away and the couple wanted to take part in his funeral but the fate had other ideas.
