BJP stifling my voice in Parliament: Rahul

New Delhi, Feb 7 (IANS): Following a brief altercation between Congress and BJP MPs inside the Lok Sabha on Friday, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi alleged that his voice is being suppressed in the House.

Gandhi is in the middle of the Friday row inside the House as MPs from treasury benches clashed with opposition over the former Congress chief's "danda" remark against the Prime Minister.

Gandhi alleged that there were instructions from BJP heirarchy to stiffle his voice in the House.

The incident happened when Congress MP Manickam Tagore tried to snatch away a paper being read out by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan. The Minister was condemning Gandhi's 'danda' jibe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reacting on the episode Rahul Gandhi defended Manickam Tagore and alleged that Tagore was roughed up and claimed that the oppposition and the Congress were "being sidelined".

After the incident Rahul Gandhi spoke to the media and said: "There is a issue in Wayanad about them not having Medical College this is long standing issue so I wanted to raise this issue in the House.

"However, the BJP doesn't want me to speak in the House so and in a completely un-parliamentary manner the Health Minister raised an issue which happened outside the House and has no business here in Parliament."

"We are not being allowed to speak in Parliament," said Rahul

The Government has alleged that after Rahul Gandhi's instigation, the Congress MPs thought they will live up to their leader's 'danda' comment. This was an attempt to manhandle Dr Harshvardhan. This shows the frustration level of Congress and is height of gundaism," said Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi.

Mr Rahul Gandhi has to go for tuition for his inability to defend himself to be in line with politicians who are well versed in Indian constitution and laws of the country. His knowledge is very limited on the subject to speak as a keader. He is immatured and each of his speech showing his frustration against PM

Please refer to Ramsey Theory if you want to widen your horizons on 'Order in Disorder', it's pure mathematics. Having said that, I'm yet to find any theory to support claims like Clouds shielding RADAR, 2ab, Usage of eMail/digital camera in 1987 etc etc ..

In all of RG speeches his only target is Mr. Modi. RG does not touch other problems which the country is facing. His speeches are stereotyped. He speaks the same in all places. Does not speak to the context of the place where he is campaigning. RG must get rid of his adamant nature and try to learn from others. Unless he corrects himself, our country will lose a potential opposition leader. The 'Dhanda' remark was not called was ,It was very 'inelegant' to say it to someone like a PM. The blind chelas may cheer, but at the end of the day , its Cong that losses. How can anyone help Congress if they allow themselves to follow this leader RG and RG had certainly decided to finish Congress . No wonder youngsters are slowing showing dissent and moving away from Congress. We saw that in Mangalore as well. Even if the ideology differs, they feel the party has a good leadership to bank upon .
