Mangalore, Oct 27: A legal information workshop about the legal requirements as applicable to the denomination temples, will be held at Sri Srinivasa Nigamagama Pathashala Hall in the city at 3.00 pm on Saturday October 31, under the aegis of Gowda Saraswath Temples’ Association (Regd).
Well-known legal expert, U V Shankar Bhat, will speak on the said subject at the workshop. Exchange of information, views and discussions, notably about the legal requirements that need to be complied with, in respect of the fixed assets owned by the temples and such other laws, will be held.
Through a release, the Association has requested the representatives of temples, Mutts and such other centres of prayer located within Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts, apart from their legal advisors and auditors, to take part in this programme.
