Mangalore: Corp Bank Half Yearly Results Show Significant Growth

Mangalore, Oct 30: J M Garg, chairman and managing director, Corporation Bank, announced the performance of the bank after adoption of the half yearly results of the bank by the board of directors on Thursday October 29.

Growth was noted in all sectors. Net profit of the bank for the half year ended September was Rs 177.11 crore, an increase of 47.13 percent, while operating profit for the same period Rs.434.39 crore, an increase of 64.59 percent.

He said that the bank had also set up seven biometric ATMs across the country besides launching prepaid gift cards for corporate customers which can be used at POS terminals.
