Udupi: Office-bearers of Kaup SKPA Inducted

Udupi, Nov 1:
“Cameramen can earn substantial remuneration and respect in society provided they constantly upgrade to the latest cameras for quality pictures and also be courteous in their dealings.  They will also have to be punctual for assignments to get due respect from the organizer of any programme”, said Ashok Kumar Shetty, former president, South Kanara Photographers’ Association (SKPA).
 


He was speaking at the installation ceremony for office-bearers of Kaup SKPA, which was held at Hotel Vaishali Saroja Hall, Kaup, recently.
 
Umesh Acharya, proprietor of Camera Centre, Mangalore, inaugurated the ceremony and offered information on the latest digital cameras on the occasion. 
 
SKPA central committee president Shivaram Kadaba presided over the programme.
 
SKPA Mangalore vice-president Vasudev Rao, chief secretary Jagdish Jain, Anand, Kaup president Krishna Rao, treasurer Ravi Kumar, joint secretary Ravindra Acharya, and secretary Srinivas Aithal were present on the dais. 
 
Kaup SKPA vice-president John welcomed the gathering.  Srinivas Aithal proposed the vote of thanks.  Honorary president Subramanya Aithal compered the programme.
