Mangalore: City-based Diya Systems Bags another Software Export Award

Mangalore, Nov 13: Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt Ltd, having an IT development centre in the city, employing over 750 specialists, was presented with the ‘Leading Exporter Award (Mangalore – Manipal Region)’ for the year 2008-09 by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and the government of Karnataka.



The award was received by Indira Ravichandran, managing director of the company, from Dr Omkar Rai, senior director, STPI, New Delhi, at a glittering function held during the Bangalore IT.Biz 2009 on Wednesday November 11. Chief executive officer of Diya Systems, Dr V Ravichandran and Ashok Kumar Manoli, principal secretary, department of IT, BT, science and technology, government of Karnataka were present.

This is the second year that Diya Systems has been selected for this award, the company stated in a release.
