Bangalore: FKCA ‘Annual Sports-2009’ on Nov 15

Bangalore, Nov 13:
The Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations (FKCA) will be organizing ‘Annual Sports–2009’ at St Joseph’s Indian High School grounds located opposite Kanteerava Stadium here at 8.00 am on Sunday November 15.
 
Various sports events and fun games for all age groups will be held on the occasion. 
 
Fifteen associations will compete for the FKCA Championship Trophy in inter-association cricket matches, throw ball matches, 4 x 100 metre relay, bangle relay, and water relay.
 
Many traditional family games such as weaving palm leaves, plucking jasmine flowers, sack race, three-legged race, necklace race, obstacle race, brick-walking, as well as lemon and spoon, games for children, couples and senior citizens will be held on the occasion.
