Mangalore: Popular Front Holds Marathon to Create Health Awareness

Mangalore, Nov 13: The Popular Front of India (PFI) organized a marathon in the city on Friday November 13 to create health awareness, especially to stress the importance of exercise with Yogasana.

The marathon started from Jyothi Circle and ended at the deputy commissioner’s (DC) office in the city where a public demonstration of yoga was arranged. The marathon was inaugurated by Abdul Latheef, state president, PFI.





















Narayana Shetty, president, Pathanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti, demonstrated yoga to maintain health. He also stated that easy exercises be done at home to keep away common diseases and body pain.

Anwer Sadath, president of PFI, presided over the programme and secretary Imthiyaz presented the keynote address. Abdul Razak Kemmara, state committee member of PFI, was the chief guest.
