Bangalore, Nov 18: A premier painting exhibition, Myriad was held at Alliance Francaise, Vasanthnagar here, recently. The exhibition was an effort to provide limelight to the budding artists and also space for artists to freely express their inherent talent and creativity on canvas.

 

About Myriad

Myriad happens to be the first of its kind for Bangaloreans in which works of artists from different parts of India, carefully chosen for their distinctive style, creativity and aesthetic appeal in a variety of mediums are displayed.
 
Manisha Dey, Zakir Shaikh, Padma Prasad, Senthil Kumar and Raji Chacko were the main artists who displayed variety of their art works which touched many people who expressed their happiness and encouraged the artists for their experiment without fear, thus striving to transfigure the art.

About the Organizer

The event organized by Rakhi Janardhan whose Canvas Incorporated is the realization of the dream of an enterprising and committed individual and primarily is a gallery set up for students of art. Canvas believes in encouraging and supporting the right kind of aptitude, attitude and talent that will help these painters hone their skills and evolve into great artists. She envisions Canvas Inc. as the platform for their initial foray into the competitive world of art.
