Mangalore: St Joseph’s HP School’s Annual Day – DySP Lays Emphasis on Discipline, Devotion

Mangalore, Nov 28: The annual day of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Kulshekar in the city, was celebrated in the school premises on Thursday November 26.







Deputy superintendent of police, C K Shashidhar, who participated as the chief guest of the function, pointed out that the nature follows a set pattern of day and night, light and darkness etc., in a disciplined manner. He advised the students also to imbibe discipline in their lives, besides cultivating the practice of praying to the Lord, doing exercises, attending to household chores and studying well. He lamented the lack of communal harmony in the district in the recent past and called upon the people to work to nurture communal harmony.

School convener, Fr Valerian Pinto, in his address, said that the annual day provides an opportunity for the school to see how it is faring in various activities, and for the children, to showcase their talents.

Headmistress, Sr Sarita, presented the school report. Jacinta D’Souza proposed vote of thanks.
