Mangalore: Angelore Parish Inter-Parish Cricket Tourney Finals on Dec 6

Guardian Angel parish, Angelore, here organized an Inter-parish cricket tournament of the entire Mangalore diocese comprising Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts, at the newly-commissioned parish ground, recently. The tournament was organized to mark the platinum jubilee celebration of Angelore parish. 
 

 

City mayor Shanker Bhat inaugurated the Inter-parish cricket tournament. The local corporators James D'Souza and Jacintha Boromio and District Congress Committee (DCC) vice-president Ivan D’Souza were present on the dais.
 
Angelore assistant parish priest Fr Gratian Alvares conducted the prayer service. A total of 22 parish teams participated in the cricket tournament. The semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday December 6.
 
Angelore parish priest Fr Stany B Lobo welcomed the gathering. Robin Vaz compered the programme.
