Mangalore: CGIC Conducts Guidance Camp at Soorinje

Mangalore, Dec 8:
Career Guidance and Information Centre (CGIC) in city conducted a guidance camp for students to enable them to face examinations without fear at Hidaya English Medium School in Soorinje near Surathkal here, recently.
 
Umer U H, president and trainer of CGIC conducted the camp comprising two sessions with power point presentation on studying for the exam and career opportunities. In the first session he presented as to how to prepare for the exams and explained about various styles of reading, tricks to increase memory power, mental preparation and how to answer in an easy manner.
 


At the second session, talk and interaction with students were conducted. They were informed on topic, After SSLC-what next? Umer described about the various courses and job opportunities thereby. Students were made aware of assistance from government to students through scholarships.
 
The guidance camp was inaugurated by K A Khader, Kinnigoli, president of the school management committee. T Sayyed Soorinje, correspondent was present.
