Udupi, Dec 9: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Hoode unit, donated street lights that were installed on the main streets of Hoode town leading to Jamia Masjid near here on Tuesday December 8.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind district secretary Anwar Ali Kaup inaugurated the street lights. Speaking on the occasion, Anwar Ali said that if social service organizations join hands with the local administration, the city and region will definitely achieve allround growth.
Hoode gram panchayat president Venkatesh Kunder appreciated the social commitment of Jamaat-E-Islami Hind, Hoode unit. Panchayat vice-president Ustad Sadiq, Jamaat-E-Islami Hind, Hoode unit president Moulana Adam Saheb, panchayat members T S Sadiq and Ustad Zafrullah among others were present.
