Moobidri: Alva’s Shilpa Virasat at Shobhavana from Dec 21 to Jan 9

Moodbidri, Dec 19: Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri will hold Alva’s Shilpa Virasat, a tribal art camp from December 21 to Jan 9 at Shobhavana, Moodbidri as part of Alva’s Virasat 2010, a cultural festival.

The programme will be inaugurated by traditional sculptor Kanakamurthy from Bangalore, while MSIL chairman Dr Vikram V Patil and Asare Trust chairperson Asha Jyoti Rai will be the chief guest.

The participation of the members of Bastar tribe from Chattisgarh, who will exhibit their art through media of wood, terracotta and iron among others will be the highlight of the camp.
