Mumbai: Air hostess found dead in apartment

Mumbai, May 1: A 29-year-old air hostess was found dead on Wednesday at her apartment in Rajalaxmi building at the PoddarWadi locality in the western suburb of Villa Parle.

Sultana Shaikh’s body was found in a decomposed state in her flat on Wednesday night after her neighbours noticed stench emanating from her apartment, an official said.

Shaikh was working with Go Air and lived with two colleagues who had left the city before the COVID-19 lockdown.

There was no suicide note found in the apartment. It was registered as a case of accidental death and further investigations are being conducted.
