Mangalore: District BJP Protest against Gowda’s Profanities

Mangalore, Jan 12: The district BJP unit staged a protest against Janata Dal (Secular) president and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda in front of the deputy commissioner’s office on Monday January 11. 

Addressing the protestors, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that he had high respect for senior politician, Deve Gowda but after his profanity against the CM he has lost his reputation as a respected political force. 

Mangalore South MLA N Yogish Bhat said that by insulting the CM, Deve Gowda has insulted five crore people of the state. He pointed out that Nice project, a blunder in the development was initiated during the JD(S) regime and added that JD (S) is the only one party answerable regarding the project and not the BJP government.






















“As a PM Deve Gowda’s performance was not up to the mark. Hence he is envious of Yeddyurappa’s success that provoked a highly deplorable reaction from the man”, alleged Mayor Shankar Bhat.
 
BJP district president Padmanabha Kottari, Former MLA K Jayaram Shetty, and women’s representative Asha Jagadish also addressed the protestors.

BJP city committee president Shrikar Prabhu, district vice-president Nithin Kumar, former district president K Monappa Bhandary and taluk panchayat president Ramachandra Kumpala among others were present.
