Mangalore: All College Bandh on Jan 15 Demanding Justice to Sowmya’s Family

Daijiworld Media Network- Mangalore (VA)

Mangalore, January 12: The Besant college student union has called for an all college bandh on Friday January 15 following the suspicious death of Soumya in Ghana, West Africa.

Soumya, a final year BA student of Besant had left for Ghana to be with her husband Prem Kishan who claims that she shot herself and committed suicide. Soumya’s parents suspect that she was murdered by Prem Kishan alleging that he used to harass her for dowry.

The students have demanded proper investigation into the case and hold Soumya’s husband responsible for her murder. They alleged that Prem Kishan had an illegitimate affair with the female politician in Ghana and had planned to burn her body in Bangalore.

As all the evidences are against   Prem Kishan the student union has requested the DK deputy commissioner and DK police officials to file a complaint of murder against Prem Kishan and provide justice to Soumya’s Family. They have also demanded monitory help to the family.

Student representatives have warned that they will hold intense protest in front of the deputy commissioner’s office on January 15 if their demands are not met.

Mr. Ganesh and Ramesh, if this would have happened to your sister, would your answer be the same?? instead of telling the student union what to do, correct your thinking and do something good yourself.

This is the most useless thing a student union can think of doing. Friends, contemplate doing something more meaningful. Wake up!

All my dear students, instead of doing all this nonsensw bundh in mangalore, why dont you the mastermind behind the bundh go to Ghana and try to sort out the problem as everything happened there.I think its hard to give justice to you people in mangalore.Dear DC and other concerned should consider strict action against people who think of Bundh for such idiotic reasons.

Instead of bandh, in the name of Soumya go and do some social work. Clean the streets or go clean up wenlock hospital during a weekend. Not only Soumya every other dead person will bless you. Dont bunk classes in the name of Soumya.
