Mangalore: Sullia, Subrahmanya, Get Heavy Rains

Mangalore, Jan 14:  Sullia and Subrahmanya in Dakshina Kannada district received heavy rains coupled with thunder on the evening of Wednesday January 13. The pandal erected for holding the annual day celebrations of Subrahmanya PU College crashed to the ground due to the rain. The devotees who had come to Subrahmanya also faced lot of problems.

Sanoor and Kervashe in Karkala taluk also got heavy rains. Karkala town received light showers. The meteorological department has predicted light rains in some places of the coastal districts in the next two days.

The city experienced cloudy skies on Wednesday.
