Bantwal, Jan 14: The feast of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap here was celebrated, recently.

The festival mass was celebrated by his lordship emeritus Dr Ignatius Pinto and was co-celebrated by 25 priests of the diocese.


 

As a preparation for the feast, Novena of nine days was conducted. The Bishop preached a touching homily, highlighting the present theme of the year "The year of the priest."

The feast was celebrated in a grand manner invoking Infant Jesus to shower His choicest Blessings on every family in the parish.

    What a marvelous celebration it was at the Infant Jesus, Bantwal on the 13th of Jan.!Congrats to Fr Roque, the Parish Priest and Fr Udaya and all those responsible for it.I was very happy to see Archbishop Ignatius Pinto as the main celebrant for the Feast. It was a sweet and cute celebration. I enjoyed every bit of it. Bantwal Parish is making steady progress in every way. What a beautiful and homely parish it is....

    A very enthralling expereince with Dr Ignatius Pinto's sermon for all the devout people gathered to rekindle the spirit of Bantwal Infant Jesus Church with its 308 years of fruitful,spiritual existence & service to the masses. May Infant Jesus Bless all the people who had gathered & who couldn't attend due to ill health or due to occupation.
