Mumbai: Ceiling fan falls on doctor working in coronavirus ward

Mumbai, May 21: After a ceiling fan fell on 26-year-old doctor in Mumbai's Nair Hospital on Tuesday, he was rushed to emergency for treatment.

The doctor was working in the coronavirus ward when the incident took place. Considering the extent of his injuries, immediate treatment at the hospital was provided.

In a report by ANI, Nair Hospital dean Dr Mohan Joshi said, "The injured is a first-year resident doctor from the anaesthesia department. The CT scan was done and the reports came normal. He has been kept under one-day observation. He is doing absolutely fine."
