Udupi, Jan 20: Manipal Institute of Management, a constituent institute of Manipal University (MU) will host an international conference on Health care market and emerging consumers-innovation, efficiency and effectiveness from Thursday January 21 to Saturday January 23.
 
The conference will highlight contemporary issues in healthcare management and provide a forum for sharing knowledge and developing future research areas in the healthcare domain.
 
Dr M S Valiathan, national research professor and former vice chancellor of MU will inaugurate the conference at MIT air-conditioned seminar hall, here on Thursday January 21 at 5.00 pm.
 
Dr G K Prabhu registrar of MU will preside. Dr Sripathi Rao, dean of KMC, Manipal will be the guest of honour.
 
About 50 research papers from various parts of India and abroad are expected to be present during the technical sessions on Friday January 22 and Saturday January 23.
