Moodbidri, May 22: In a heart-wrenching incident that occurred in the taluk, a woman gave birth to the child at the same time her husband left for heavenly abode due to coronavirus infection.
A man of Moodbidri origin, was working in Mumbai. He was diagnosed with coronavirus infection and was admitted to the hospital duly. However, he succumbed to the pandemic. Incidentally, his wife gave birth to their child on the same day just after his death.
The wife of the deceased man lives in her parents’ house in Moodbidri. She is not able to have the last glimpse of her husband also due to the restrictions that are in place and also for the fact that she has just given birth to the child.
